I would recommend going into the actual town and staying at one of the local hotels/eating food from the local markets and restaurants. Much more interesting. This island is so unique in that there are almost no foreign tourists outside of the resorts. Almost everyone speaks only Vietnamese. Going and staying at a cushy western resort which is isolated away from the locals would mean missing out on the charm of this place. Also the locals benefit a lot from your business.

The problem is getting there – first I'm accosted by TSA agents who earn minimum wage – then governments who claim ownership of people and lands – then – rude obnoxious Chinese tourists – worse fatted Americans – worse – tattoos – im paying big money to enjoy being elite and I have to see criminal tattoos and piercings

Have you noticed, every warm weather resort is currently
running televison commercials, trying to squeeze every last drop out of their
winter season, by picturing empty beaches and blue waterways, while even in
their off season, which are our hot summer months, an empty beach would still be
    hard to find…?

Video is really nice and the resort is amazing. I have been to the Six Senses in Da Lat and Ninh Vinh Bay. I would suggest you edit a lot of the video to about 5-10 min. Not many can sit for 45 min!

I am more like a beach woman, but my husband will definitely love this place. How much does it cost for a room? When is the best time to travel there?

Where are the Vietnamese food?? The street selection is a joke. That is the one thing I hate about resorts they feel the need to serve 90% western food. Tourists in general should eat the food of the country they travel to. Isn’t that the whole point of traveling.

I was there last August for 4 days with my family. Best resort you’ll ever go to. If you ever go there, make sure to get a PADI license (diving) first. Diving there is one of the highlights of the island. Also, you should go to watch Giant Turtles breeding (ask your butler, he’ll call the people for you) at night. They’re the last of their kind and almost extinct (~350 left in the world).

Not sure how well i would sleep knowing that $700 would save a vietnamese childs life from starvation. This country is extremely poor and their should be some guilt from staying in a $700/night hotel. It only inspires me to do more for others. Thanks

It’s beautiful and I would love to go there, but like so many of the truly amazing venues you feature on your channel it just looks mostly deserted. How do any of these high end resorts make any money? Is it just the high price of entry? It’s mystifying. Beautiful, undeniably paradise, but mystifying.

My favourite hotel brand is the Oberoi group. Fabulous hotels, and impeccable attention to detail. The level of service at their properties is beyond anything that I have ever seen.

Thanks for this video. What I particularly like about your videos is that you don't intrude, you don't self-promote as if trying to gain YouTube celebrity, instead letting the images and text commentary speak for themselves. Very appreciated, thankyou.
